1 Why is it important to use the proper cleanser and toner?
Cleansing your face prepares your skin to receive the proper moisturization. Do not use soap or just water to cleanse your skin. It is too harsh for a delicate dry skin type. Theraderma Clinical Skin Gentle Cleansing Gel will gently cleanse off makeup and any surface impurities that have collected on the skin throughout the day (very important to cleanse your face before going to bed). Deeply embedded makeup and pollution is removed with the Ginseng Toner w/ AHA, which completes the cleansing process. Your morning cleansing routine will wake up your face and get the skin ready for the exfoliant and moisturizer.
2 Is it important to exfoliate before moisturizing?
Yes, exfoliating (removing the surface dead skin cells) refines the skin surface. As we age cell renewal slows down, dead skin cells remain on the surface longer making fine lines and wrinkles look deeper. When you use the Theraderma Clinical Skincare Glycolic Treatment Gel or Fruit Enzyme Serum, the dead skin cells get pushed off the surface faster. Now the new cells are revealed with a much smoother texture and ready to receive the proper moisturizer. Very beneficial for either dry or oily skin types.
3 Does my skin become drier with age?
Yes. With age, functionality of oil and sweat glands decreases, the skin thins and there is less ability to retain moisture. With this rapid loss of moisture it is important to replenish the skin cells with a very hydrating moisturizer. 4 Why do I need a separate moisturizer for my eye area?
There is one layer less of skin around the eyes as compared to the rest of the face. Therefore, the skin around the eyes is very delicate and the pores are very fine. The eyelid moisturizer must have the proper ingredients in order to penetrate this delicate tissue. The Theraderma Clinical Skincare Anti-Aging Eye and Neck Cream is formulated for dry skin to address the areas of fine pores around the eye and neck.
5 Does everyone need sun protection: light or dark skin tones?
Yes. Everyone needs sun protection. Since the ozone layer in our atmosphere has become thinner, the sunrays are stronger than ever. The major factor in aging skin is caused more by environmental damage from sun exposure than from chronological aging. The Theraderma Sun Protection Cream SPF 30 Block will give you the highest sun protection along with the benefits of moisturization. 6 What can I do to control my oily skin and breakouts?
Proper cleansing is the first step. Try not to use a product that is too harsh, one that can "over-strip" the skin and cause it to re-bound by producing more oil, something you do not need. The Theraderma Clinical Skincare Camphor Soufflé is a deep pore cleanser that will dissolve the heavy oils embedded in the pores and provide a ph balance for the skin.
7 Does oily skin really need moisturizing?
Yes, in order to have healthy skin it needs hydration and protection from the environment. Many oily skin types avoid moisturizing because they fear it may add more oil to their skin. However, with the proper moisturizer you will provide a balanced solution for your oily skin. The Theraderma Clinical Skincare Vitamin B Day Cream is a light moisturizer with Vitamin B complex that absorbs the oil gland secretion to control pores from clogging. 8 What causes dark spots on my skin and how can I get rid of them?
The darks spots are known as hyperpigmentation. They are usually a result of sun damage and/or hormonal changes. You can use a bleaching cream to lighten the hyperpigmentation along with a sunblock. The Theraderma Clinical Skincare Fading Cream with Kojic Acid or Alpha Quinone will fade the dark spots and uneven pigmentation over time.     You might be surprised even if you think you know your measurements.

     

    Keep the measuring tape comfortably snug, not tight. Then, compare them with the size charts. If between sizes, order the larger size. It's that simple! If you don't have a measuring tape, just use a piece of string or a belt and after measuring yourself, just use a straight ruler to measure the string or belt.
